In the Medieval Quarter, the heart of the city in the historic centre of Orvieto, where the charm of art joins up with the beauty of landscape, stands Palazzo Carvajal, which nowadays houses Palazzo del Cardinale Bed & Breakfast.
The historic palace, built in the first half of the 16th century, first belonged to Cardinal Simoncelli, then it passed to the present owners' family.
We offer three types of accomodation:
- Spacious and beatiful room (45 sq m), with the walls and the vaulted ceiling decorated with 18th-century frescoes; very plesantly furnished, it has queen bed and private bathroom with tub and shower.
- A pretty apartment (65 sq m) with self-catering facilities, consisting of large living room with loft, fireplace, panoramic glass window; kitchen; bathroom with tub and shower.
In addition, a small terrace overlooking Orvieto's roofs and offering beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. Sleeps 2/4.
- Studio. Sleeps 2.
The delicious breakfast is served in the dining room, or among the lemon plants and the roses of the internal garden.
