The Big Bar is a classic Italian cafè and wine tasting bar : 200 m away from the famous well of San Patrizio and the funicular railway; it is located in Corso Cavour, the street which reaches the heart of Orvieto and the Cathedral.
A coffee bar where you can enjoy your typical Italian breakfast, based on expresso, cappuccino, cakes and pastries, the Big Bar is also the ideal place to taste the best wines of Orvieto.
Large selection of Orvieto reds and whites - Cervaro della Sala Antinori, Armaleo di Palazzone, Poggio Calvelli di La Carraia, Colbadia di Cardeto, Est Est Est e Montiano di Falesco, etc. - accompanied with the tasty typical products from our land: prosciutto, capocollo, boar sausages, fresh and aged pecorino, truffle cheese; bruschette and house specialty salads - among which the famous Panzanella, made of bread and fresh vegetables - all with our very own extra-virgin olive oil.
At the Big Bar you can find a lot of wines from different places both for tasting and for buying,: Brunello di Montalcino, Sagrantino di Montefalco, Tignanello, Sassicaia, Guadaltasso, Solaia, Ornellaia, Nobile di Montepulciano and many others.
We sell also our extra-virgin olive oil, and we can ship our products everywhere.
On request, we can provide different types of wine.
We invite by reservation parties for up to 20 people to indulge in our famous wine tasting.
