Massa Martana is the most important town and also the administrative town of a vast agricultural territory full of human settlements gathered around ancient castles and villas of particular beauty.During the last years the town has recorded a considerable development both in craftmanship and industrial sectors.
The town stands on the top of a cliff at the foot of Mounts Martani, almost in the centre of Umbria, between Perugia and Terni, the two administrative seats of Umbria.For its healthy climate and for the fact of being close to the biggest and most famous historical and artistic towns of the region, which are easily accessible thanks to a good road network, Massa Martana has a privileged position as a summer resort.
