As we reach Città di Castello, the most important town of the High Valley of Tiber, we visit the Municipal Art Gallery, the Museum of Capitolo, the Burri Collection and the Popular Tradition Museum. If we go on , we can reach Montone, a little medieval town with an interesting Museum in the Church and Monastery of San Francesco in Umbertide , with its imposing Rock and the Abbey of Montecorona. Naturalistic Itinerary: Pietralunga - Montone - Preggio - Lisciano Niccone

  • Trails and hiking routes passing through age-old oak- and chestnut-woods and witnesses of the past link all the main sites of the territory of Tiber High Valley. They can be used on foot or horseback following the trails marked by the Comunitą Montana on a map of the territory that is at the tourist's disposal. Many holiday farms offer pleasant stays. In autumn it is possible to pick up mushrooms and truffles and to attend the Feasts of the Wood taking place in Pietralunga, Montone, Preggio and Morra, Lisciano Niccone and Città di Castello.
